Each basin unit has a basin coordinator.  These work for either the Division of Water or partner organizations and are generally overseen and funded by the Division of Water. 

Partner organizations include the University of Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service and Jackson Purchase Resource Conservation and Development Foundation (RC&D).  The Kentucky River Authority directly funds basin coordinator activities in that basin.
