- Water Management Planning The Water Resource Information System (WRIS), developed in recent years through the cooperative efforts of water systems and local, regional and state agencies, is maintained by the Kentucky Infrastructure Authority and provides much of the information needed in the planning process.
- Source Water Assessment and Protection Plan Source water protection is any law, ordinance, program or activity that helps to secure a long-term quantity and quality of water that is suitable as a drinking water supply. Since there are many threats to our drinking water supplies and drinking water is so critical to our survival, it is important that appropriate measures are taken to ensure the long-term protection of our water supply.
