This site relates to Watershed Management Framework activities in the basin unit comprised of the watersheds of the Green River and Tradewater River. In this basin unit, the Kentucky Division of Water provides one full-time basin coordinator.
Basin Coordinator - Each basin unit has a basin coordinator. These work for either the Division of Water or partner organizations and are generally overseen and funded by the Division of Water.
Green/Tradewater Basin Status Report - The Green/Tradewater Basin Team published a Basin Status Report in March 2001, with funds provided from the Kentucky Division of Water.
2001-2002 Strategic Monitoring Plan Green and Tradewater Rivers Basin - This document represents the effort to plan and coordinate strategic monitoring for the basin management unit during months nine to 21. Public participation has been encouraged throughout the process, allowing citizens and organizations to stay informed and have an active role.
Watershed Viewer - Links to a clickable basin map. More detailed information is revealed by "zooming" into the map (with the "magnifying glass"). "Identify HUC11" produces links, at the bottom of the map, to a table and narrative information about each subwatershed.

- Conservation Reserve Enhancement Program (CREP) - The USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) has expanded the Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) to work in partnership with state and local interests to meet state-specific environmental objectives.
- Commonwealth Cooperative Water Education Project (CCWEP) - A grant was awarded to the University of Louisville to convene a wide-ranging group of professionals to participate in a statewide project aimed at educating the public about water quality and quantity issues. The project will last for five years and will be the most comprehensive effort to date for Kentucky, and probably the nation.
