Basin Management Map

The Watershed Management Framework identifies major watersheds as basins, and established basin units as a working area. This page provides links to all basin units.

Basin Coordinators
Each basin unit has a basin coordinator. These work for either the Division of Water or partner organizations and are generally overseen and funded by the Division of Water. Partner organizations include the University of Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service and Jackson Purchase RC&D Foundation. The Kentucky River Authority directly funds basin coordinator activities in that basin.
